Hello world! We’ve heard of the saying made by the Chinese philosopher Lao Tse, ‘A journey of a 1000 miles begins with a single step’ but how many of us practice it as a life principle? I know I don’t and this is my attempt at doing so.
I’m in the twilight of my early thirties. My missus and I are planning to have a kid this year so I figure it’s time to start sorting myself out. Better late than never huh! I love the surf, fitness and coconut yoghurt. I loathe traffic lights that have turned red, when my fingernails are too long (slightly weird maybe), people who are oblivious to others around them and clutter. Sometimes I say things to provoke a reaction, sometimes I’m monotonously philosophical.
This blog is my journey. I have a 1000 miles to travel in several directions and it scares me a bit to think I may not make it that far in either one of them. So I’m learning to enjoy the ‘single step’, the process, the daily grind. Come along.
Oh, I also have another site, which fuels the gym junkie side of me, Gymmotivationquote.com, check it out and let me know what you think!
